This is a quick guide to some of our favourite drams that sneak in under the £30 mark. Everything here we’ve either personally owned or have sampled the whisky (which might be why we’re missing some – tell us what we’ve missed in the comments). Hopefully this guide will prove useful to those who are starting their whisky journey as well as those who have been on this journey for a while.

aberfeldy

Aberfeldy 12

This sneaks into our Whiskies Under £30 purely because of how often it drops in price, sometimes as low as £25! This is an incredibly smooth dram and one i’ve purchased multiple times.

Price Range: £25-35
Purchase: Master of Malt | Amazon

highland_park

Highland Park 12

This is a great introduction into the Highland Park whiskies. Those who have tried the older expressions, probably won’t be blown away with the 12 but it’s still superb value for a good whisky.

For Fans of: Light Spice, Fruit and Smoke.
Price Range: £25-30
Purchase: Master of Malt | Amazon

blackbull

Black Bull Kyloe

One of the lowest priced bottles on our list, but it shouldn’t be overlooked because of that. A smooth, fruity and chocolatey dram and we think you’d be hard pressed to find a better blend in this price range. Read the full review here.

For Fans of: Smooth and Chocolatey Whisky.
Price Range: £20-25
Purchase: Master of Malt | The Spirits Embassy
