Highland Park 12
This is a great introduction into the Highland Park whiskies. Those who have tried the older expressions, probably won’t be blown away with the 12 but it’s still superb value for a good whisky.

Black Bull Kyloe
One of the lowest priced bottles on our list, but it shouldn’t be overlooked because of that. A smooth, fruity and chocolatey dram and we think you’d be hard pressed to find a better blend in this price range. Read the full review here.

Writer’s Tears
Writer’s Tears is regularly stocked in M&S at around the £30 mark. This is for those of you with a sweet tooth, it would make a perfect after dinner dram.

Glen Moray Sherry Cask Finish
Sherry fans look no further. Lovely chocolate, vanilla and fruit notes, with a rounded sweetness from the Sherry Casks.

Bulleit Bourbon
The high rye content (30%) separates this from typical bourbons. Expect lots of sweetness and fruit, along with a good spice kick.

Woodford Reserve Distillers Select
Another Bourbon with a relatively high Rye content (18%). Smooth with lots of toffee and caramel notes. Perfect to drank neat and even goes great in an old fashioned.

Penderyn Myth
Another one that is usually over the £30 mark, but it’s regularly on offer. This Welsh whisky is sweet with lots of dried fruit flavours. A great introduction into Welsh whisky and probably our favourite from Penderyn.
