Aroma: Sweet Butterscotch, spicy ginger and stewed apples.
Taste: The start of this whisky is sweet and buttery, like highland toffee. It then becomes warming and heathery as it opens out into a black pepper like spice. As the spice fades away the finish is woody, with a citrus peel zest.
Real Dram Factor: This could be described as a breakfast whisky by those with little to achieve in the day time. It feels like you could happily pour it whilst eating your oats, watching rain stream down a closed window. The only problem would be putting it down, forcing your coat on and getting on with the day at hand.
