Aroma: The main aroma is a florality, like those weird Red Lips sweets that no one really likes. Then there is stewed apples, crumble topping and also a smoky bacon note that wafts through the mostly pudding based nose.
Taste: This whisky starts waxy, the middle is like a boozy old fashioned cocktail, then there is oak, cherry and vanilla. At the end of this dram is over cooked bacon, the edges catching, so there is a smoky almost burnt quality.
Real Dram Factor: Complex, confusing and interesting, like a sudoku that I can’t solve = 7.4
You will like this if: Bacon brings you both hope and disappointment in equal measures.
